Our brilliant host, Kim Hunt, sprung intriguing and thought-provoking questions on me, G. B. Ralph, and my fellow panellists, Patricia Dunmore and Bing Turkby, last night.

We enjoyed a fascinating chat on breaking the rules, rogue characters, unexpected endings, and all sorts of other chilling and mysterious topics.

Mysterious Manawatū was held at Palmerston North City Library and is part of the ongoing Mystery in the Library event series running in the lead-up to the Ngaio Marsh Awards which recognise and celebrate New Zealand’s best crime, mystery, and thriller writing.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to listen, ask questions, buy the books, and eat the snacks; to the wonderful librarians for hosting us; to Bruce McKenzie Booksellers for being on hand to sell books; and to Craig Sisterson for bringing us all together.
