Reminder: Mysterious Manawatū 2026

Sleuths and suspects, it’s almost time!

I’ll be at my local library on Thursday 30 April 2026 – i.e. this coming week – alongside a fantastic panel of local authors discussing crime, mystery, writing, publishing, and plenty more. We’d love to see you there!

What is Mysterious Manawatū?

Mysterious Manawatū is part of the Mystery in the Library series of events being held across the motu in the build up to the Ngaio Marsh Awards later this year. You can find out about other events in the series and the awards on their Facebook and Instagram pages.

I had a fantastic time on last year’s panel with Gareth and Louise Ward, Riley Chance, and Tina Shaw. I snapped a few photos and Manawatū People’s Radio recorded the evening – check it out here.

So, who’s on the Mysterious Manawatū 2026 panel in Palmerston North?

If you’re local, or based not too far away, it’d be great to see you there! Tell your friends, your book club, and your shady aunty who loves a good mystery.
