Starstruck and Good Grief… I mentioned these shows on my mailing list – the platform I always prioritise! – soon after watching them, but my brain was still foggy after a bout of C*vid so I forgot to post here too. Anyway, these two TV shows are both great fun, the perfect watch while in isolation, and they’re available to stream now.
Starstruck (TV series)

What: Rose Matafeo plays a Kiwi living in London, juggling dead-end jobs, and accidentally sleeping with a film start on NYE. Hilarious romcom that had me laughing out loud throughout.
How much: Two seasons, six half-hour episodes each, a great watch.
Where: I streamed this via TVNZ+ in NZ, and as far as I can see it’s currently available on ABC iview in Australia, BBC iPlayer in the UK, HBO Max in the US, and Crave in Canada.
Good Grief (TV series)

What: Two sisters inherit the Loving Tributes funeral home. The family tensions and eccentric employees made for so many hilarious and awkward moments.
Bonus: My friend’s Kiwiana kitchen apron design (DBL Design By Leonard) is worn by the caterer, Sharyn! Check out these stills on Instagram.
How much: Two seasons, six half-hour episodes each, so much fun.
Where: I streamed this via TVNZ+ in NZ, and as far as I can see it’s currently available on SBS On Demand in Australia (Season 1 only), Sundance Now on Amazon in the UK, fuboTV and AMC+ in the US, and Sundance Now and AMC+ in Canada.
