The paperback edition of Death in Douglas Glade has been successfully launched!
Thanks so much to everyone involved for the enthusiasm, encouragement, and for coming out to celebrate with me on Thursday night – I appreciate you all so much!

To my wonderful partner, friends, family, readers, the +1s who were dragged along, and the inquisitive passersby who stumbled across the event and decided to stick around.

To Genny and the librarians at Palmerston North City Library for hosting the event and the wonderful nibbles.

To Louisa and the team at Bruce Mckenzie Booksellers for the wine and being on hand to sell the books.

To Jill and Ricky for their excellent bartending services. To Jack and Donna for having us at Tony’s Pizza for the book launch after-party. To readers who couldn’t make it on the night but ordered signed copies anyway.

And, of course, to Bing Turkby for being such a brilliant MC! We chatted about the writing process, what made me go cosy, if I’d ever considered going darker, my trunked first novel, how I got into writing, which one book I would live in if I could, favourite childhood books, museum cats, book research, emergency services, influences, and audiobooks.

Once more, thank you to everyone for coming along. You made it such a fun night!
