‘Evening with an author’ reported in the Wairarapa Times-Age

Amongst the many activities happening across Wairarapa this weekend – including a performance by the delightfully named Hogsnort Bulldogs Goodtime Band – there’s this year’s One Book, One Community event where I’ll be at the Masterton Library to answer for my (literary) crimes!

I’ll see you at 4:30pm tomorrow (Saturday 28 March 2026) x

What’s “One Book, One Community”?

It’s an excellent initiative that I’m very excited to be a part of! I won’t be able to describe it better than the librarians themselves, so here are some details from the library’s event description:

Join us for Masterton’s annual community-wide reading celebration! This year’s One Book, One Community (OBOC) title is Murder on Milverton Square by New Zealand author G.B. Ralph — a “fun, cozy murder mystery with quirky characters, a charming location, and a slow-burn romance.” Think Agatha Christie… but gay.

Come together with fellow readers for an afternoon of conversation, connection, and literary fun. Don’t miss this chance to meet the author, dive into a delightful mystery, and be part of something truly special.
