Mysterious Manawatū 2025

I had a blast at last night’s ‘Mystery in the Library’ author panel event at the Palmerston North City Library with The Bookshop Detectives, Riley Chance and Tina Shaw.

Seated audience. Five panellists seated on stage.

We had a great time discussing the importance of the New Zealand setting in all of our books, our ever-growing cast of characters, how we tackle research, the business of being an author, and so much more.

Authors signing books and chatting with readers (L-R): Gareth Ward, Stevie (the dog), Louise Ward, Tina Shaw, Riley Chance, G. B. Ralph.

We had a wonderful audience and it was so good to see so many friendly faces on such a wet and windy evening! For anyone who didn’t make it on the night, the recording is now available to listen back to, all the details here:
