Event: 2025 Mystery in the Library, Whanganui

The time is almost upon us! Tomorrow evening I’ll be be joining a truly disreputable bunch of wrongdoers – Charity Norman, Cynric Temple-Camp, and Stephen Johnson – on an author panel in Whanganui.

The event is part of the Mystery in the Library series being held across the motu in the build up to the Ngaio Marsh Awards later in the year. Each will feature a panel of local authors discussing crime, mystery, writing, publishing, and plenty more I’m sure. You can read more about this event in this recent article:

I had a fantastic time on last year’s panel in Palmerston North, and you can even listen to Manawatū People’s Radio’s recording of the evening (blog post with links). I’ll be back there again this year (see here for details), but today’s post is all about Whanganui…

So, who’s on the 2025 Riverside Wrongdoings panel in Whanganui?

  • Charity Norman (Home Truths, The Secrets of Strangers, After the Fall)
    • I met Charity last year when she was touring her latest book and she hosted a fantastic night at the library (blog post).
  • Cynric Temple-Camp (The Final Diagnosis, The Cause of Death, The Quick and the Dead)
  • Stephen Johnson (No Repeats, Peace Stick, Tugga’s Mob)
  • G. B. Ralph (The Milverton Mysteries)

If you’re local, or based not too far away, it’d be great to see you there! Tell your friends, your book club, and your shady aunty who loves a good mystery.
